Job Description - Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Our clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. We are looking to fill a full-time position in our Cocoa Beach clinic.

Responsibilities:

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff

Communicate with insurance companies for prior authorizations

Bring patients to exam rooms

All Medical Assistants will be cross trained to cover front desk also

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Medical Assisting

Familiarity with prior authorization procedures

Strong organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Strong computer knowledge

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Our two Merritt Island practices are conveniently located on North Courtenay Parkway and North Banana River Drive.

Our Palm Bay practice is located in the heart of Palm Bay at 590 Malabar Rd SE.
