HOURS OF WORK: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hours may vary according to patient scheduling)
35-40 Hours Full time/Benefits Provided
WAGE: $17-22/hr, dependent upon experience and qualifications
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES:
· Room patients, take vitals, triage, and complete patient intake forms
· Chart prep
· Assist the doctor with in-office procedures
· Scan medical records into EHR
· Process EHR task lists
· Sterilize and process dirty instruments
· Stock exam rooms and order supplies
· Call labs and pathology
· Patient follow up and processing of appropriate paperwork
· Assist in answering phones on non-patient days
· Demonstrate safe work practices
· Assist front staff when needed
· Clean and prepare exam rooms
· Assigned housekeeping and cleaning duties
· Perform other tasks as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
· Certified Medical Assistant, with 1-2 year’s experience in the field is preferred
· Demonstrate good analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
· Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and thrive in a busy, fast-paced setting
· Detail oriented with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
· Consistently arrive to work on time with a positive attitude and professional appearance
· Ability to work both independently and as a team member
· Display good judgement and make timely and sound decisions
· Exhibits integrity, respect for others, and professionalism
· Must follow HIPPA guidelines, with the ability to use discretion and confidentiality
· Flexibility to work beyond the average hours or time frame of work
· Ability to travel twice monthly (transportation provided)
· Proficient in Microsoft and Excel spreadsheets
