As a Medical Assistant, you will be integral to the daily operations of our practice, assisting with patient care and ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to treatment. You will utilize your skills to provide the best care possible, while also engaging with a team that values collaboration and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and documenting their medical history accurately.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are ready and available.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis as required.
• Maintain organized and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule patient appointments and handle correspondence efficiently.
• Provide education to patients regarding their treatment plans and skincare routines, enhancing their understanding and compliance.
• Ensure examination and treatment rooms are properly stocked, clean, and organized at all times.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare setting is desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dermatology and aesthetics.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to maintain effective interactions with patients and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office technology.
