Medical Assistant

MEDICAL ASSISTANT: 

High school or GED; Completion and certification from accredited medical assistant program. Must be Registered or Certified thru one of the following: AAMA, AMT or NHA; Active CPR/BLS required; Demonstrated skills in venipuncture. Working experience in medical office, preferred.

The primary focus of this position is to function as an assistant to physician and health care providers in the delivery of patient care.  The position is clinical in nature, but will also be required to work in a clerical, and administrative, component in certain areas. The Medical Assistant performs delegated medical tasks under supervision.
