The Position:

The medical assistant will perform a range of clinical tasks that help maintain organization and keep the facility running efficiently.

Responsibilities include: 

• Check patients in for their appointments
• Take medical histories
• Take patient vitals before, during, and after infusions as appropriate
• Enter and update patient medical records
• Use computer applications for data entry
• Perform patient assessments
• Answer the telephone
• Perform document tracking, scanning, and filing
• Schedule patient appointments

Schedule:

• Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 7:15a - 3:30p
• No Holidays or Weekends
• No on-call

• Credentialed as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) via a national certification exam (i.e. American Association of Medical Assistants, Association of Medical Technologists, or similar association) required
• Two years of experience working as a CMA, preferred
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office/Teams
• Excellent customer service skills
