Job Summary

We are seeking a professional full-time Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing medical records before their scheduled appointment, providing routine support for providers, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous medical office experience. Bilingual (Spanish) and eCW experience a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare for patient in-person and tele visit appointments

Reviewing EMR records and notes to ensure diagnostic results and procedural reports are in the medical record

Obtaining and documenting vitals, medical/social/family histories

Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms

Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, process patient messages based on provider input

Track diagnostic results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant desired

Bilingual (Spanish) REQUIRED

Previous eCW experience a plus

Excellent customer service skills

Strong attention to detail

Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
