Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Medical Assistant to join our team, with a primary focus on both front and back office responsibilities. This role requires working at our Encinitas location two days a week. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, an eagerness to learn about the medical field, and prior office experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer phones and address medical-related questions, assess patient needs, and schedule appointments

Manage front desk tasks, including patient check-in, collecting co-pays and outstanding balances, and scanning documents

Assist with basic medical care and procedures in the back office

Perform general medical office duties to support the clinical team

Qualifications:

BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant preferred

Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
