ABOUT THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION

We have an exciting opening for a Medical Assistant.  The Medical Assistant works with general methods and procedures, exercises considerable independent judgement to select the proper course of action and is required to review the work of subordinate technicians to ensure conformance with established guidelines, methods, procedures, and policies.

•            Location: St. Ignace, MI

•            Facility Type: Mackinac Straits Health System

•            Schedule: M-F AM shift 40 hours guaranteed 

•            Compensation: $1,100 per week 

•            Start Date: 7/7/25

Unit Notes

• 2+ Years of Experience - Required 
  


• National Certification - Required
  


• EPIC experience - Strongly preferred


• COVID Vaccine Required


• mainly in our St. Ignace location but may also work in our Mackinaw City clinic at times

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• BLS
