• Patients should be interviewed and their basic medical history should be documented.

• Appointments should be organized and scheduled.

• Medical records and insurance reports should be updated and filed on a regular basis.

• Make arrangements for hospital admissions and laboratory services.

• Check in with patients and create patient charts

• Help with medical examinations

• Create and distribute memos, letters, faxes, and forms for correspondence.

• Accounts receivable and payable are handled, and financial records are kept.

• Prepare and clean treatment rooms as well as medical instruments.

• At least 2 years working experience as a Medical Assistant or Medical Secretary is required.

• Familiarity with medical office management systems and procedures

• Excellent time management abilities, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Social awareness and service orientation

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Excellent organizational and planning abilities

• MS Office and patient management software proficiency

• Diploma in Medical Assisting
