Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments are in place.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications effectively.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skin care processes.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a clinical setting.
• Understanding of medical terminology and procedures relevant to dermatology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a high-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and office software applications.
