As a medical assistant, you will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide critical support to patients in medical facilities. Your primary duties will be to assist physicians and nurses in the delivery of quality care to patients in a timely and compassionate manner. Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and update medical history.
• Prepare examination rooms for patient visits- Assist physicians with procedures and treatments.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients
• Manage medical records and ensure their confidentiality.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
• Provide administrative support to the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Successful completion of formal Medical Assistant Program (MA, RMA, or CMA) 
• 1-2 years in a medical office preferred.
• Current BLS and CPR Certification.
