Summary : The Medical Assistant supports healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities : Patient Care : Greet patients, record vitals, assist with exams, and provide patient education. Clinical Support : Perform tests (e.g., EKGs, blood draws), administer medications, sterilize equipment, and maintain exam rooms. Administrative Duties : Schedule appointments, answer phones, manage medical records, and support billing/coding. Compliance : Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines for patient confidentiality and safety. Qualifications : Education : High school diploma; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Experience : Prior experience and EMR knowledge preferred. Skills : Strong communication, multitasking, and patient interaction skills.
