Medical Assistant - Hiring Fast

*Must be able to train EST* (Remote) Can reside anywhere in the US)

Duties:
- Perform medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance claims.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications, including injections and inhalation treatments, as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Perform basic life support measures in emergency situations.
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as X-rays or specimen collection.
- Ensure accurate coding of medical procedures and services for billing purposes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Provide patients with education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication instructions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques.
- Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $41.91 per hour
