ChristianaCare Primary Care at Woodstown is looking for a Medical Assistant I.

ChristianaCare Primary Care at Woodstown is located at 125 East Avenue, Suite C in Woodstown, New Jersey. ChristianaCare Primary Care at Woodstown offers comprehensive medical care for newborns, children, and adults. You will join a fantastic team of three physicians, one nurse practitioner, four registered nurses, two medical assistants and three office assistants.

Work Schedule:

• Mondays-Fridays: Day Shift

• Flexibility to work till 7:00pm on assigned days.

• No weekends or holidays

Duties / Responsibilities:

As a medical assistant you will be involved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and on-site within the practice, preparing them for virtual visits, performing point of care testing, injections, medication administration, and EKGs, assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures, preparing exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment, completing patient-specific paperwork, ensuring EMR is up-to-date, handling patient call backs, sterilizing medical equipment, handling prior authorizations, referrals, and medical refills, scheduling tests, procedures, and surgeries, performing quality control on POCT equipment, providing documentation assistance, performing clerical duties, troubleshooting patient issues with video visits, and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCare's Patient Portal.

Education Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Hourly Pay Range: $19.10 - $27.69This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
