Medical Assistant II –
Full Time Schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Experience: 1–2 years required Specialty: Primary Care, Pulmonary or Cardiac experience is a plus
Float between two offices depending on provider's schedule

Overview We’re seeking a skilled Medical Assistant II to support a new provider in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities while ensuring excellent patient care and smooth daily operations.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

‎ 

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete patient intakes, vitals, medical histories, and medication reviews

  • Assist with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testing

  • Perform EKGs, immunizations, specimen collection, and point‑of‑care testing

  • Prepare and process lab samples

  • Maintain infection control and clinical room readiness

  • Support triage, care coordination, and patient education

  • Document accurately in the EHR

  • Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and verify insurance

  • Monitor supplies and maintain equipment

  • Provide compassionate, patient‑centered service

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Graduate of an accredited MA program

  • 1–2 years of clinical experience

  • BLS required

  • MA certification required (AAMA, AMT, NHA, etc.)

  • EHR experience (Epic, Athena, Cerner, etc.)

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

  • EKG or phlebotomy certification a plus
