Baptist Health is looking to hire a Medical Assistant II for our Primary Care Airport office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity. Monday-Friday, 7:45-4:45.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing back-office Medical Assistant duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting providers. This position is administrative focused, with regular involvement in triage tasks.

Medical Assistant II, Job Responsibilities:

• Obtains vital signs

• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit

• Maintains medical documentation

• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician

• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• Over 5 years Patient Care Experience

• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required

• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Certified Medical Assistant Required
