Medical Assistant / LPN - UT Family Physicians Hardin Valley

Seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position for a primary care office in Hardin Valley.

Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines in a very fast-paced office. This position will work closely with providers to provide a seamless patient experience. Candidates must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting providers with patient care
• Rooming patients
• Obtaining vitals
• Performing point-of-care testing
• Assist providers for minor procedures
• Scheduling and prior authorizations
• Obtaining pre-certs for MRIs and CTs
• Communicating test results.

This position also requires the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians, team members, patients and their families while conveying a positive image of the practice.

Requirements

• Strong Communication Skills
• Attention Detail & Time Management Skills
• Prior medical experience (CNA, CMA, MA, or LPN) is plus!
• Prior medical office experience is a plus
