We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Medical/Surgical Assistant to assist our Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and Dermatologist in surgical procedures and patient exams. What Youll Do:

• Be the First Friendly Face Greet, escort, and prepare patients for procedures while updating their medical histories in our EMR system.
• Assist in Cutting-Edge Surgeries Work directly with the physician during patient exams and surgical procedures.
• Hands-On Patient Care Take medical histories, measure vitals, administer medications, remove sutures, bandage wounds, and provide post-procedure instructions.
• Ensure a Sterile & Safe Environment Handle, clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, always adhering to OSHA guidelines.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly Stock and clean exam rooms, process lab specimens, and manage pre-authorizations and referrals.
• Be an Essential Team Player Assist with administrative tasks, lab procedures, phone messages, and overall practice efficiency.

What Were Looking For:

• Experience Matters 1+ year in a medical setting (physician practice preferred, but not required).
• Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented Strong computer skills and keen attention to detail.
• People Skills Are Key Outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Quick Thinker & Multi-Tasker Ability to recognize needs and respond efficiently under pressure.
• Team-Oriented & Proactive Works well with colleagues, anticipates patient needs, and takes initiative.
