About Us – Laboratory 

• Freeman West results over 3.53 million tests a year and issues over 550 units of blood each month

• Other Labs at Freeman include the Cornell Beshore Cancer Institute Lab and Freeman Neosho Laboratory  

• Draw stations are located inside Freeman East, the Bentlage Building and the Women’s Pavilion  

• There are over 140 employees in the Labs at Freeman and all of them are highly talented and patient-centric individuals

Schedule

On-call only, work on an as-needed basis.

What You'll Do

Performs authorized clinical/analytic procedures, and other support procedures under guidance of the administrative director.

Skills & Abilities

• Phlebotomy skills using various techniques to include utilization of safety collection devices.
• Ability to handle specimens using standard precautions.
• Ability to operate complex laboratory instrumentation.

Requirements

• Must meet CLIA 88 standards, which includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Phlebotomy experience preferred.
