Medical Assistant or LPN - Rheumatology

Premier Health Rheumatology - Monroe (MA or LPN) \nFT / 80 hours per pay period\n\n \n\nSummary of Position\n\nA Certified Medical Assistant for the Premier Physician Network will typically see upwards of 30 patients per day, and is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers. \n\nOur Certified Medical Assistants are an integral part of our offices, and are relied upon to assist in delivering the very best in Patient Experience. Every patient, every time.\n\n \n\nNature and Scope\n\nIndependently performed procedures may include, but is not limited to, rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills will be an ongoing expectation.\n\nQualifications\n\n1. High School diploma or equivalent certificate\n\n2. Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant, and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program.\n\n3. Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred\n\n4. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.\n\n5. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service \nstandards.\n\n6. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.\n\n7. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding\n\n8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.\n\n9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.\n
