Medical Assistant - Pediatrics $30/hr - Leading Industry Pay

Hiring for a nationally certified Medical Assistant in Waltham, MA. 

Schedule: 9am-5:30pm, M-F (40 hrs)
Pay: $30/hr

National Medical Assistant Certificate must be active! Prior pediatric experience is required!

70% clinical, 30% administrative (NO front desk rotation, just notating)

This practice has 6 providers and sees between 45/65 patients a day. 
Role Overview Our Medical Assistants partner with work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses in primarily a 1:1 ratio with providers support model.

Responsibilities include:

• Functioning as a "flow manager"/ensuring efficient patient flow through the office • Assisting with direct patient care during the office visit (examination, procedures, and treatments as directed)
• Performing clinically appropriate administrative tasks (chart prep, phone triage, in-basket messages, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)
• Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
• Providing an exceptional care experience by interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program required.
• CCMA/RMA Required
• CPR training required.
• Epic experience preferred
• Primary care experience preferred
• National Cert required
