Medical Assistant - Start Immediately

Adecco Medical & Science is hiring Certified Medical Assistants for one of the leading healthcare providers in Hillard, OH .

Type: 4 Contract, with opportunity for extension
Schedule: 8AM to 4:30PM
Pay: $16 to $18
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
1. Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment
2. Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG's
3. Administer injections and collect specimen
4. Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software
5.Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork
6. Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant
· High School Graduate or GED
· Medical Assistant Certification
· BLS/CPR certification
· This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease
· Must be Covid vaccinated

Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
