Medical Assistant Telemedicine Services

SynergenX is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our expanding Telemedicine Services team. This role is essential to the success of our virtual care program, serving as the central connection between patients, telehealth providers, clinic-based teams, and support staff. As a Telemedicine MA, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating patient care, managing follow-ups, and ensuring smooth communication to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for telemedicine-related patient care.

• Coordinate with telehealth providers and clinic teams to ensure continuity of care.

• Prepare and maintain accurate patient documentation in the EHR.

• Relay normal lab values and provide patient education as appropriate.

• Respond promptly to patient inquiries, escalating clinical questions to providers when needed.

• Schedule follow-up appointments and process payments as required.

• Track and follow up on open patient concerns or unresolved issues.

• Maintain clear, professional, and consistent communication with patients, providers, and staff.

• Support the Telehealth Supervisor with reporting and operational updates.

Location: Onsite | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $19.00 – $19.50 per hour

Qualifications:

• Active Medical Assistant certification required.

• Prior experience in telemedicine, virtual care, or clinical coordination preferred.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and support patients effectively.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with electronic health records.
