Medical Assistant- Urology - Fishersville, VA

What Youll Do

• Greet and room patients, ensuring a warm and efficient visit experience

• Reconcile medications and update medical records

• Collect and process urine specimens and blood draws

• Administer injections (Lupron, Firmagon, Testosterone, etc.)

• Schedule surgeries, procedures, and diagnostic imaging

• Obtain pre-authorizations for surgery and studies

• Prepare and sterilize surgical trays and instruments

• Return patient calls and assist with general office needs

• Support providers and teammates to keep the day running smoothly

What Were Looking For

• Proficient computer and EMR skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude

• 2-3 years of Medical Assisting experience preferred (but not required!)

• Bilingual skills are a plus
