Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is bilingual in English and Spanish to join our healthcare team. The CMA will support providers by delivering patient care services, assisting with clinical tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to effectively serve our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment

Clean instruments and equipment after use

Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs

Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures

Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties

Conduct patient education and provide instructions in both English and Spanish

Translate medical information between providers and Spanish-speaking patients as needed

Manage patient flow, schedule follow-up appointments, and coordinate referrals

Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety protocols

Travel to various locations in metro area

Qualifications

BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired

Excellent customer service skills

Strong attention to detail
