The Staff Pad is proud to partner with
a leading healthcare provider in Helena, MT to recruit a dedicated Medical
Assistant for a busy Orthopedic Clinic.

This is an exciting opportunity to
join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where you'll provide exceptional
patient care while supporting both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic
services.

Schedule

  • Full-time, 5 days per week
  • Weekend and/or holiday rotation may be required

What
You’ll Do

Key
Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care support
    in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic

  • Assist physicians with surgical and non-surgical
    orthopedic procedures

  • Perform cast applications and removals, fracture
    care, dressing changes, brace fittings, and patient education

  • Support inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care
  • Apply and monitor mobilization and immobilization
    devices, including slings, braces, traction equipment, and continuous
    passive motion machines

  • Coordinate surgery and procedure scheduling
  • Ensure all required testing, authorizations, and
    resources are coordinated prior to procedures

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Degree in Athletic Training or related healthcare
    field preferred

  • Previous experience in a hospital, orthopedic,
    sports medicine, or physician office setting preferred

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy,
    and physiology

Licensure & Certifications

  • BLS certification required
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
    required within 6 months of hire

  • Orthopedic certification required within 6 months
    of hire

    training
