The Medical Assistant communicates with patients every day as we serve our community.   You are energized by people interaction while you collect detailed information during a fast-paced, friendly, and positive patient encounter.  Successful Medical Assistants are optimistic, methodical, and accurate with a single focus on the task in front of you.

Your tasks will include the following: 

• collecting patient information including vital signs, height, weight, medical history and prescriptions


• administering medical tests, collecting specimens, giving injections
  


• charting in the electronic medical records system


• processing paper documents such as sports physicals and DOT physicals


• communicating medical results back to patients


• assisting patients with registration

Position Overview

• Competitive Pay


• Work hours: 7 a.m to 7 p.m. – Full Time – 36 hours each week


• Work rotation: work 6 days in a 14-day period with 7 days off in a row; no holidays or Sundays worked
