Medical Assistant/Receptionist

Full Time Position

Our busy medical and aesthetic office is looking to hire a full time medical assistant/front desk receptionist. Candidate should be  customer service oriented and be willing to learn about our aestheitic services.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, basic clerical skills, , EPIC EHR preferred, proficient in computer applications, 

Responsibilities:

Answers telephone and disperses callers in a friendly, prompt and accurate manner. Takes accurate messages when appropriate. Provides appropriate information to callers.

Schedules, cancels, reschedules and confirms office visits according to office scheduling procedure. Tracks and recalls patients when appropriate for care follow-up and preventative care visits.

Greets patients & families, registers and verifies insurance and other necessary information.

At providers request, schedules patient testing, procedures, referrals, admissions.

Responds to medical records requests, insuring patient confidentiality

Resolves immediate problems in administrative area and ensures compliance with all policies and regulations.

Communicates with provider as needed

Triage patients in person or on the telephone..

Assists in scheduling patients for testing procedures and providing patient instructions specific to testing.

Maintains stock and supplies.

Works as a medical assistant, rooming patients as needed.

Must learn about aesthetic services.

Necessary Experience: 2+ Years of medical office experience required

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant Schooling Preferred
