Medical Assistant/Technician (FT or PT)

To help us continue to achieve our goals, we are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Medical Assistant/Technician to join our growing dynamic team! Some of the duties include, but are not limited too:

• Experienced in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.
• Able to ensure charts are updated and accurate.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications.
• Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers,
• Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.
• Proficient with EMR computer programs.

Requirements

Candidate should:

• 3 years of experience in Healthcare/Medical setting
• Have some Refractions experience
• Experience in checking overall vision, identifying chief complaint
• IOP
• various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)

Other skills include:

• Strong communication skills
• Strong hospitality skills and patient care focus
• Attention to detail
• Tech savvy with strong Microsoft Office knowledge
• Certification is a plus
