Medical Assistant/Transcriptionist – Rocky Top ENT & Allergy

Location: Oak Ridge & Crossville, TN   Job Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Rocky Top ENT & Allergy PLLC is a trusted Ear, Nose & Throat practice committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams; record medical histories and vital signs
• Support ENT physicians with procedures and exams
• Perform allergy testing (training provided)
• Administer injections and medications
• Transcription experience preferred (EclinicalWorks EMR)
• Keep exam rooms clean and stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Assist with scheduling, insurance paperwork, prior authorizations, and phone calls
• Educate patients on treatment plans

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Previous experience in ENT or specialty care a plus
• EMR proficiency (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic, etc.)
• CPR certification (required or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
•  Strong communication and organization skills
