Medical Claims Examiner, Remote, Temporary

NTT DATA is seeking to hire a Remote Claims Processing Associate to work for our end client and their team. \nIn this Role the candidate will be responsible for: \n\u2022 Processing of Professional claim forms files by provider \n\u2022 Reviewing the policies and benefits \n\u2022 Comply with company regulations regarding HIPAA, confidentiality, and PHI \n\u2022 Abide with the timelines to complete compliance training of NTT Data/Client \n\u2022 Work independently to research, review and act on the claims \n\u2022 Prioritize work and adjudicate claims as per turnaround time/SLAs \n\u2022 Ensure claims are adjudicated as per clients defined workflows, guidelines \n\u2022 Sustaining and meeting the client productivity/quality targets to avoid penalties \n\u2022 Maintaining and sustaining quality scores above 98.5% PA and 99.75% FA. \n\u2022 Timely response and resolution of claims received via emails as priority work \n\u2022 Correctly calculate claims payable amount using applicable methodology/ fee schedule\n\nRequirements: \n\u2022 3 year(s) hands-on experience in Healthcare Claims Processing \n\u2022 2+ year(s) using a computer with Windows applications using a keyboard, navigating multiple screens and computer systems, and learning new software tools \n\u2022 High school diploma or GED. \n\u2022 Previously performing \u2013 in P\u0026Q work environment; work from queue; remotely \n\u2022 Key board skills and computer familiarity \u2013 \no Toggling back and forth between screens/can you navigate multiple systems. \no Working knowledge of MS office products \u2013 Outlook, MS Word and MS-Excel.\n\nPreferred Skills \u0026 Experiences: \n\u2022 Amisys \n\u2022 Ability to communicate (oral/written) effectively in a professional office setting \n\u2022 Effective troubleshooting where you can leverage your research, analysis and problem-solving abilities \n\u2022 Time management with the ability to cope in a complex, changing environment\n
