Medical Clerical/ Front Desk Support

Our Endoscopy Center serves a diverse population of outpatient ambulatory surgery patients. Providing diagnostic and therapeutic Colonoscopies and Upper GI Endoscopy care, to adult and elderly patients. As a team member, you will work closely with eleven physicians, registered nurses, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and endoscopy technicians. Our facility is looking for the right entry level candidate to work at our fast-paced Endoscopy Center. 

Primary Duties: 

• Confirming patient’s appointments via phone 
• Optimizing scheduled appointments for efficiency 
• Handling multi-line phone 
• Communicating with nursing staff 
• Scanning information into medical records 
• Acting as a backup person front desk person to cover breaks or absences. 

General Qualifications: 

• Being biliterate in English and Spanish is preferred 
• Strong Data Entry Skills 
• Ability to obtain and record information accurately. 
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. 
• Ability to multitask. 
• Must have strong attention to detail. 
• Shall present self in a professional, friendly, pleasant, and helpful manner. 
• Present a neat and professional appearance. 
• Ability to, verbally, communicate effectively and professionally. 
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in written form. 
• Work well with patients, physicians, management, and staff 
• Have ability to function successfully under stressful conditions. 
• Have excellent data entry skills. 
• Must have a mature and courteous demeanor. 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma 

Previous clerical experience preferred.
