Medical Coordinator Nurse (RN License)

About the opening:

Responsibilities:
Ensure appropriate nursing care and support charge nurses in medical interventions during patient status changes
Implement and monitor safety measures for patients, visitors, and staff, and intervene in crisis situations
Adjust staffing and scheduling to meet immediate needs, and communicate concerns to Nurse Managers
Conduct education programs and collaborate on compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures
Maintain records, participate in Quality Improvement initiatives, and support staff development

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Massachusetts RN license
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, with certifications in Geriatrics and/or Nursing Administration
Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a similar setting; acute care experience recommended
Demonstrated leadership ability, problem-solving skills, and staff development experience
B.L.S. Certification required; A.C.L.S. Certification preferred, with computer literacy
