Kane Partners is seeking both a talented Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Engineer to join our team and help our company get to the next level.

The Medical Device Engineer will research, plan and design products, systems and services related to product development and work closely with Manufacturing Operations, Project Leaders as well as customers to ensure proper setup, installation and operation of designed products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Mechanical Engineers will conduct surveys to gather field data.
· Preparing and interprets blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids for manufacturability, serviceability, maintainability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, with complete and error-free documentation are also part of the Mechanical Engineers duties.
· The Mechanical Engineer will also prepare technical specifications for projects.
· Electrical Engineers will complete design, specifications, documentation, development and testing of complex electrical systems
· Electrical Engineers will work closely with Product Development team and operations personnel in the development of Class I, II and III Electrical Medical Devices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· BSME or BSEE degree, or equivalent work experience
· SOLIDWORKS A MUST for Mechanical Engineer role
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience for both Mechanical and Electrical Engineer
· Direct experience with complex, electromechanical products, a plus
· High degree of competence and experience in the design of complex medical capital equipment and disposable devices, a plus
· Familiarity with appropriate FDA, QSR and ISO regulations: design controls, regulatory approval methods, and overall medical device industry knowledge is critical to success in this role, a plus
· High level of experience with a variety of manufacturing processes, including injection molding of plastics, machining methods, rapid prototyping techniques, etc.
