Job Description - Medical Director

Location: Columbus, OH
Worksite: On-site
Position: Full-time

Duties:

Liaise with local health care facilities and establish EMS protocols.
Conduct quarterly EMS and annual trauma training.
Review and ensure quality control of EMS incidents and reports.
Support state-approved continuing education programs.
Provide medical oversight for the DSCC AED Program.
Evaluate and review the Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) program.
Approve protocols, training programs, and drug licensing.

Requirements:

Valid Ohio medical license.
Active involvement in emergency care and EMS organizations.
Five years of experience with military installations.
Current emergency room physician.
Board certification by the American Board of Emergency Medicine or similar.
