A leading pharma are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Clinical Development to lead our immunology and inflammation program. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and executing clinical development strategies for their portfolio in Immunology!
Candidates MUST be local to New Jersey, the Greater Metropolitan area, or be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic planning and execution of clinical development programs for immunology and inflammation indications.
Provide medical and scientific expertise to guide the design, implementation, and interpretation of clinical trials.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Translational Medicine, to ensure seamless execution of development plans.
Serve as the primary medical monitor for ongoing clinical studies, overseeing patient safety and protocol compliance.
Analyze clinical data and contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions, including INDs, BLAs, and NDAs.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD) or equivalent with board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Immunology, Inflammation, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical development within the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably in immunology or related therapeutic areas.
Proven track record of leading successful clinical programs from early-phase development through regulatory approval.
Experience in IBD is highly preferred.
