About the Role
The Company is seeking a Medical Director with a terminal doctorate or equivalent professional degree and a minimum of 6 years' of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, clinical or medical practice, or a combination of both. The successful candidate will be a key member of the US Medical Affairs-Dermatology team, contributing to the planning and execution of medical strategies and tactics for the dermatology franchise. This role involves developing long-term relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, providing clinical and economic insights to brand teams, and supporting the development of customer-focused tools and medical communications. The Director will also be responsible for ensuring the fair balance of promotional and non-promotional materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in activities related to HCP engagement, evidence dissemination, and education.Applicants should be adept at leading advisory boards, congress-related symposia, and publication planning. Experience in Dermatology, Medical Affairs, and a strong understanding of clinical and drug development or Phase IV/IIR trial management are preferred. The role requires excellent presentation and communication skills, the ability to influence and collaborate, and a proven track record of building internal and external relationships. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple demands in a matrix organization. The position also demands a high level of creativity, resourcefulness, and energy, with the ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
