$325,000 – $350,000 Annual Salary
Up to $20,000 Sign-On & Relocation Bonus
Outpatient Setting | Open to 2025 Psychiatry Residents

Position Overview

We’re seeking a compassionate and driven Medical Director of Psychiatry to lead our dynamic outpatient behavioral health team in beautiful New Braunfels, Texas. Starting January 2026, this hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape clinical care while enjoying a balanced work environment with at least 3 days onsite per week.

This is an ideal opportunity for a board-certified psychiatrist looking to step into a leadership role—or a 2025 resident ready to take the next step in their career with mentorship and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to a multidisciplinary outpatient behavioral health team. 
• Deliver direct psychiatric care to patients in a collaborative and supportive setting.
• Oversee clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with standards of care.
• Mentor staff and support professional development of clinicians and providers.
• Participate in organizational strategy and growth planning.

Requirements

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) in Psychiatry.
• Texas medical license (or ability to obtain by start date).
• Leadership experience preferred, but not required.
• Passion for team-based, patient-centered care.
• New graduates (2025 psychiatry residents) encouraged to apply.
