Medical Director-Neonatologist

Fairfax Neonatal Associates (FNA) is seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist with leadership experience to join our expanding private practice group as Medical Director. The Medical Director position will be at one of the level III community hospital locations in Northern Virginia. In addition, the role will also include rotations at the level IV NICU at Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital. FNA actively participates in the Vermont Oxford Network, and consistently ranks in the top decile across VON measures. Our program has been nationally recognized by the Joint Commission and other sources as one of the top NICUs in the nation.

The Medical Director will be responsible for the clinical operations of the level III NICU, the quality of patient care, and will serve as the primary representative of the NICU with Inova administration and medical staff. The Medical Director provides strategic and medical operational leadership, monitors physicians, and leads an interdisciplinary team of non-physician providers. The Medical Director performs assigned duties while acting in the best interest of FNA, supporting our mission, vision, and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients.
