 Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly)
  • Monday - Friday

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years of experience coordinating professional education activities, educational programming, project management, or related work required
  • Knowledge of accreditation compliance, instructional design, educational planning, and fiscal management required
  • No certifications or licenses required at hire; however, participation in the OSMA professional group will be expected as part of the role
     

Job Overview:

The CME Coordinator works with the Administrative Director - Medical Education (AD), Vice President – Academic Affairs (VPAA), and the CME Committee to strengthen the oversight and processes that support TriHealth Continuing Medical Education programs. The CME Coordinator is responsible for independently planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating educational activities of TriHealth in collaboration with clinical, research, and administrative experts. 

 

The coordinator is responsible for program development, fiscal management, accreditation oversight, and administrative support for assigned education activities. In addition, the CME Coordinator will focus on building relationships with TriHealth departments, providing education on CME process, making compliance and process decisions, and recommending program improvements.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with appropriate parties to assure residency and medical student programs meets all accreditation requirements and system policies - serves as primary support of program; assists with overall orientation/on-boarding. Organizes and maintains files required for accreditation and/or system policies; preparing reports/forms required for accreditation or system audits; maintain ongoing communication with GME Office regarding status of program 
  • Coordinates formative and summative evaluation of education activities. Aggregates data for analysis. Assists in implementation and tracking of activity/program improvements, as well as, policy updates. Participates in overall CME Program Evaluation. 
  • Coordinates the development of education activities – feasibility study, needs assessment, accreditation compliance analysis, financial analysis, activity application, and oversight of deficiencies/concerns. 
  • Fulfills other program administrative responsibilities - prepare and participate in necessary meetings; track data required by GME Office, TriHealth and/or accrediting bodies; serve a program liaison for communications from GME Office and other relevent groups; demonstrate necessary teamwork, communication and professionalism skills to work with other coordinators/team members in Medical Education, TriHealth Departments and outside organizations 
  • Manages the files and databases to assure compliance with all accreditation and audit standards from regulatory bodies. Assures reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. 
  • Monitors, and updates policies and procedures to assure regulatory and organizational compliance
