Job Description - Medical Equipment Service Technician | Houtzdale

Job Summary

  • Deliver medical equipment, oxygen tanks, and other home care equipment to nursing facilities and patient residences
  • Install and service durable home medical equipment (power mobility, lifts, beds, etc.)
  • Assist clients with the familiarity of medical equipment
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to effectively and efficiently complete the daily jobs
  • Safely drive and maintain the company vehicle
  • Comply with company policy and procedure
  • Assist other technicians/warehouse members as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license in good standings
  • Experience working with durable medical equipment is preferred
  • Familiarity with low voltages, switches, and controls is a plus
  • Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills

  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as talk and hear.
  • The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
