Job Description:
Responsible for delivering and picking up home medical equipment and oxygen. Sets up and demonstrates equipment use for patients and caregivers. Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment functionality. Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Coordinates with healthcare teams to support patient needs.
• Delivers and picks up oxygen and equipment at patients’ homes.
• Performs maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on home equipment per protocols.
• Assesses home safety during equipment setup and demonstrates equipment use to patients/caregivers per physician orders.
• Picks up equipment needing repair for evaluation and assists with inventory control of supplies and equipment.
• Completes daily schedules, assignment sheets, and required documentation in a timely manner.
• Assists with cleaning equipment according to established guidelines.
• Performs simple vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Reports concerns or need for return visits appropriately.
• Performs on-call duties during weekends and holidays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
