Medical Lab Scientist/Technician - FT Day Shift

Scott County Hospital, located in Scott City, KS, is seeking a qualified Medical Lab Scientist/Technician, for our hospital facility. Medical Laboratory Scientist / Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform all tests offered by Scott County Hospital
• Maintain Quality Control Standards with each test, with responsibility for recording Quality Control Data.
• Know the proper methods of reporting lab results and all paperwork involved.
• Be able to operate LIS and do minor troubleshooting for the system.
• Be familiar with normal ranges for tests.

Requirements

Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician Requirements:

• ASCP MT, MLT, or equivalent
• One to two years' experience in laboratory procedures and instrumentation.
