Medical Laboratory Testing Personnel - PRN

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: 

• Performs common testing procedures and reports test results for diagnosis & treatment of patients.  
• Performs calibration/quality control testing and maintains quality assurance program.
• Specimen collection, routine maintenance/repair of equipment and stocking of supplies for testing. 
• Contributes to team atmosphere by communicating appropriately, takes initiative to share tasks, being flexible to help others.
• Weekend on-call coverage required, scheduled in rotation with other technicians.

• Cerner Electronic Medical Record 

Requirements

MLT, MT, or MLS with ASCP Certification

Phlebotomy skills required

Weekend on-call coverage
