Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney

Baxter Baker is seeking an attorney to join our Medical Malpractice/Litigation Group. You will be part of our team that defends healthcare providers in medical malpractice lawsuits and Board of Physician matters. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their trial skills. You will work closely with multiple attorneys who have been recognized as the most distinguished in Maryland. Responsibilities include all matters related to the handling of medical malpractice claims, including trying cases, preparing cases for trial, taking depositions, preparing witnesses for deposition, attending mediations, participating in motions hearings and other court required conferences, and performing legal research and writing. Trial experience is preferred but not required. All applications will remain confidential.

Requirements:

• Licensed in MD or MD Bar Admission Pending
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to congeniality and professionalism

Compensation & Benefits:

• Expected Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
