JOB OVERVIEW

• Job Title: Physician – Medical Oncology

• Clinical Shift Schedule: 3–4 days/week, 8a – 5p

• Patient Demographics: Adults

• Patient Volume/Census: 7–15/day

• Admissions: No

• Rounding: Not Included

• Phone Consults: No

• Case Mix: General Medical Oncology

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Support Staff Available: 1 APP (unsupervised)

• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (Must have clear background)

• Credentialing Timeline: TBD

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Rate: Based on fixed daily rate; OT after 8 hours daily and 168 hours weekly

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: TBD

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• General Medical Oncology procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active SC license

• Board: Board Eligible within 5 years

• DEA: Active DEA Certification

• Certifications: BLS/ ACLS

• Experience: Fellowship required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide outpatient medical oncology care

• See 7–15 patients per day

• Work independently; APP in clinic not supervised

• Maintain accurate documentation

• Participate in ongoing care planning until permanent hire
