Medical Payment Posting Specialist – Glen Burnie, MD (In-Person Only)

Pay: $18–$23 per hour (depending on experience)

Full-Time | Schedule Options: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a Medical Payment Poster Specialist to join our growing ReactDx division in Glen Burnie, MD. This is an in-person position and is not eligible for remote work.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience posting medical payments and a strong working knowledge of billing and insurance terminology. This role is essential to ensuring timely, accurate processing of payments and maintaining financial accuracy across patient accounts.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately post insurance and patient payments, denials, and adjustments
• Apply payments to accounts with attention to accuracy and detail
• Interpret EOBs from a variety of insurance payers
• Reconcile accounts and track deposits
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and underpayments
• Follow up on outstanding balances as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and billing records
• Collaborate with management on payment resolution issues

What We’re Looking For

• 1 year experience in medical payment posting (preferred)
• Solid understanding of medical billing and insurance terminology
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient with electronic and manual payment posting processes

• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Use of hands for office equipment operation
• Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

• Standard office setting
• Potential exposure to chemical vapors (e.g., acetone, ether, glutaraldehyde); proper PPE must be used
• No exposure to blood, body fluids, or infectious materials (OSHA Classification: Category III)
