Medical Receptionist

We are currently hiring for a Front Office Patient Coordinator to join our ever-growing team of professionals who share our main focus of GREAT PATIENT CARE!

Responsibilities include (and may vary):

• Check-in/check-out/medical records/pre-cert/scheduling
• Accurate and detailed collection of patient demographic and insurance information
• Obtaining and filing appropriate documents
• Accurate data entry of patient info/insurance
• Verifying insurance and obtaining authorizations
• File insurance
• Scheduling patients
• Collecting co-pays/deductibles
• Deliver contact lenses and collecting patients' balances
• Open/close clinic

Hours: Generally, Mon-Fri 8:00a -- 5:00p. Flexibility to open early or stay late based on clinic needs.  

• Good communication and organizational skills
• Good patient rapport/Good customer service skills
• Possess basic computer skills and efficiently use the computer
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Interact well with Physicians, Management and all co-workers, as well as patients.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Compliance with coding and billing guidelines
• Previous experience verifying insurance is an added plus
