Medical Receptionist ($21/hour) - Collaborative Environment

Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office is looking for a Full Time Medical Receptionist.

Hours: 

• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Must be able to work one late night/week (until 5:30/6pm)

Temp to Hire Contract role

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, schedule appointments - primary care, so all types of appointments with assorted scheduling procedures 
• Check insurance eligibility to be sure we can see the patient/that we participate with their insurance 
• Check patients in as they arrive, collect co-pays, account balances, ID, and insurance cards 
• Prepare for next day's appointments (put together packets of paperwork, discern what will be required)
• Check out patients and schedule for follow-up appointments 

Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years of medical receptionist experience 
• Experience working in an office where patients are routinely seen and they see Medicare patients strongly preferred
