Medical Receptionist - Customer Service
Salisbury, MD
MUST:
One year of medical office experience
Great customer service skills and positive attitude
EMR experience as well as strong computer skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong typing skills
DUTIES:
Answer multi phone lines
Explain all pre-operation instruction to patients
Fill out and fax posting sheets and pre-operation forms.
Pre-authorize surgeries with insurance companies.
Scan and fax pre-operation clearances to the hospital and surgery center
Print the doctor's O.R. schedule
Copy all forms needed including posting, patient info, pre-operation orders
Scan all surgical forms and info into patient's EMR
Perform other duties as assigned
